Oasis Valley School is the English as a Second Language (ESL) arm of FIDS

We provide an English study environment for both full-time and part-time students at FIDS.

Because we are part of a Democratic School, the lesson style and format follow a non-coercive structure and philosophy. We will help students that present themselves to us. We assume that by coming to class, they want to learn what we have on offer. The speed and intensity of their study is determined by the students themselves.

In addition, while the structure of the course has been determined by us, the content of the lesson, the discussion, the work or activity can change by request of the child.

We don't force students to do homework.

We will not teach children whose parents interfere with their work either. And we can tell!
